New Jersey Teacher Charged in 2021 Sexual Relationship With Former Student
Former New Jersey middle school teacher Ashley Fisler, 36, was arrested on six counts of first‑degree sexual assault of a minor, plus one count of second‑degree endangering the welfare of a child and one count of second‑degree official misconduct, for a sexual relationship with a student in 2021; the now‑adult victim reported it this year. Fisler taught social studies in Washington Township from 2014 to 2023 and is no longer employed.
