Guild Wars 3: A Thousand Years Earlier, With No Guild War in Sight
Guild Wars 3 is set roughly 1,000 years before Guild Wars 1 in Orr, introducing the Vaelwardens and a still-magic-rich world governed by newly established gods. Because the gods and magic exist far earlier, the series’ famed guild wars aren’t expected to occur in the story, though the lore hints at other threats. The game is slated for a Q4 2027 beta, and ArenaNet confirms no subscription or battle pass.
