Cyberpunk 2077's Overdrive Modes Impress Players and Boost Performance.
Cyberpunk 2077's new Ray Tracing: Overdrive mode brings path tracing to the game, but only NVIDIA RTX 40 series GPUs can handle it. However, a new mod called Ray Tracing: Overdrive Optimizations reduces ray bounces and far range of rays, resulting in significant performance improvements on non-RTX 40 series GPUs. The game's 1.62 patch also introduced NVIDIA DLAA and Intel XeSS support. The game is available on multiple platforms, and its expansion, Phantom Liberty, will be released later this year on PC and current generation consoles only.
