Inti Creates announced Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 3 for Switch 2 and PC (Steam), due in 2027. The sequel introduces a new twin-energy sword called Divide Edge and a Code Customizer system for deeper customization as Copen faces a threat from otherworldly invaders known as iX Bearers, with a trailer and initial screenshots released.

Falcom and GungHo announce Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter will release on September 17 for PS5, Switch 2, Switch, and PC worldwide, with Western editions available physically and digitally. In Japan, pre-orders for PS5/Switch 2/Switch include a high‑definition remaster of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky and a special Uroboros Box bundle, which features exclusive items such as a sound collection, DLC costumes, Blu‑ray, and a character book. Sanctuary Games announced Zanerdin: The Unbound, a collectible turn-based RPG with gacha gameplay that does not include microtransactions, planned for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. The game features 60 battle stages, 25+ playable characters with pets and gear, and a world called Kalatos defined by six Blessings, with strategic Theme and Synergy systems. A release date has not been set, but fans can sign up on the official site or Discord for updates; post-launch DLC will add new content and gameplay modes.
