Philadelphia Health Officials Issue Measles Exposure Alert for PHL Travelers
Philadelphia health officials have notified travelers of a possible measles exposure at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) from September 13 to 14. The incident, which occurred in Terminals B and F and connecting areas, is unrelated to recent exposures at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. A person with measles passed through the airport without leaving. Officials urge exposed individuals to check vaccination status and monitor for symptoms, as Pennsylvania’s ongoing outbreak has sickened over 760 people and caused four deaths.
