PMC Unites Vox Brands Under PMX, Expands Publishing Portfolio
Penske Media Corporation announced the acquisition of Vox Media's remaining brands—Eater, The Verge, SB Nation, PopSugar, The Dodo, Punch and Thrillist—along with Vox’s ad marketplace Concert and Forte data platform, forming the new PMX subsidiary to consolidate PMC’s publishing titles (Deadline, Billboard, Variety, Rolling Stone, WWD, The Hollywood Reporter, Sportico, SHE Media, StyleCaster, ARTnews, FN, IndieWire, VIBE, BEAUTYINC and 25 total titles). Vox President Ryan Pauley will lead PMX, with Tom Finn as COO and Ken Delalcazar as CFO. The brands will remain independent but will align on shared functions, expanding PMC’s digital publishing footprint across about 25 titles.
