Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 gains per-app zoom in Labs, but rollout remains limited
Android Authority reports that Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8 has per-app zoom controls hidden in Settings > Advanced features > Labs. After being spotted in Fold 8 Ultra firmware, the feature now appears on the Fold 8 in a Labs option, offering five zoom levels for individual apps. Early demonstrations show Chrome’s page content not zooming while the UI scales, whereas Maps shows both UI and content zooming. Samsung apps aren’t showing up yet, and it’s unclear how broadly this will be released as final retail firmware is still pending with August 7 retail open date for Z Fold 8 devices.
