Ariana Grande Defends Petal Video Amid Backlash, Saying She Loves It With Her Entire Heart
Ariana Grande posted behind-the-scenes clips from the Petal video, writing that she loves it with her entire heart as critics questioned her appearance. The video features scenes like fake blood and provocative imagery, which fueled public scrutiny and coincided with a plan to step back from public life after the Eternal Sunshine Tour. Grande stressed the break is a voluntary, pre-planned decision rather than a reaction to backlash, and she continued with tour dates in Chicago before heading to London for the finale.
