Feig Signs On to Direct Detention for Blumhouse’s Atomic Monster and Platinum Dunes
Paul Feig is set to direct the horror-thriller Detention for Blumhouse’s Atomic Monster and Platinum Dunes, with a Daniel Gold–penned script and producers Michael Bay, Jason Blum, Brad Fuller, Cameron Fuller, Feig and Laura Fischer. Universal is viewed as the likely studio, given existing ties to Platinum Dunes/Blumhouse, while exec producers include Steven Schneider, Bea Sequeira and Gold. The logline remains under wraps as Feig eyes a darker project after The Housemaid.
