Nagoya Father Leaves 7-Year-Old Alone on Mount Fuji to Reach Summit
A 48-year-old father from Nagoya reportedly left his 7-year-old son alone on Mount Fuji at about 2,500 meters (approx. 4:30 a.m.), while he continued the climb with his older child; the boy was found unharmed around 7:40 a.m. by a hut worker and police reprimanded the father, urging hikers to keep together and pace the climb to the least fit member.
