
Commanders part ways with tight ends coach Ben Steele after policy violation and DWI arrest
The Washington Commanders dismissed tight ends coach Ben Steele for violating team policy amid reports of a June driving-while-intoxicated arrest. Steele notified the team and was placed on paid leave; offensive assistant Wes Welker handled TE duties at minicamp, with a replacement for Steele expected to be named ahead of training camp.
