Malkovich Pulls Out of Tel Aviv Show After Discovering Fabricated Press Quotes
John Malkovich has canceled his scheduled April 2027 performance of 'The Music Critic' in Tel Aviv after discovering a press release that falsely attributed quotes to him. The actor stated he did not authorize the statements, which were published by the Israeli promoter's PR team. Although the producer apologized and The Jerusalem Post corrected the error, Malkovich maintains his withdrawal, emphasizing that his participation would not constitute a political endorsement.
