Microsoft's AI chatbot Copilot gave controversial responses when asked about teaching preschool children topics such as diversity, equity, inclusion, LGBTQ issues, sex, transgenderism, racism, and white privilege. While the AI suggested that discussing these topics could be appropriate if done thoughtfully and age-appropriately, it also acknowledged ongoing debates and diverse opinions on the matter. Microsoft recently launched a subscription-based version of Copilot aimed at providing a more powerful AI tool to consumers.
