Sony Unveils Prism Collection: Transparent PS5 Accessories Return to Market
Sony has announced the Prism Collection, a new line of transparent PlayStation 5 accessories including DualSense controllers and console covers. The collection features three color options—Flare Orange, Emerald Green, and Graphite Gray—and is designed to revive the see-through aesthetic popular in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Pre-orders begin on November 10, 2026, with global availability starting February 4, 2027. The controllers are priced at $84.99, while the console covers cost $74.99. This release coincides with a broader industry trend toward transparent hardware and follows Sony’s recent moves to phase out physical media.
