Zelenskyy's Diplomatic Tour Challenges Bulgaria's Stance on Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy clashed with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev during his visit to Sofia, challenging Radev's pro-Russian narrative and advocating for a stronger diplomatic approach to the conflict in Ukraine. Zelenskyy emphasized that the conflict is a war, not just a conflict, and criticized Radev's opposition to military aid for Ukraine. He argued that even if Bulgaria kept its weapons, they would not be enough to defend against a potential Russian attack. Zelenskyy stressed the importance of unity among Ukraine, Europe, NATO, and the EU in the face of Russia's goal to destroy them.
