Maricopa County has confirmed its sixth measles case of the year with several potential exposure sites in Mesa and Queen Creek. The patient is a county resident with no known exposure source, and health officials are notifying people who may have been exposed and advising vigilance for fever and rash. Arizona reports 78 measles cases in 2026; two doses of MMR are about 97% effective and recommended for all children.
