Samsung has released the first public beta of One UI 9.0 for the Galaxy S26, adding a more customizable Quick Panel, on-device Game Booster shortcuts, a redesigned precise location permission UI, and Samsung Notes updates—including the Tape feature for masking parts of notes and new pen styles with a Straighten Lines option.
The One UI 6 update for Galaxy devices brings a range of new features and improvements. In the Camera app, users can now access resolution settings more easily, have quicker access to video size options, add custom camera widgets, and choose more alignment options for watermarks. The update also includes enhancements to the Quick Panel, Gallery, Photo Editor, Studio (formerly Video Editor), Lock screen, Bixby text call, Modes and Routines, My Files, Typeface/Font, Smart select, Calendar, Reminder, Weather, Content sharing, and Settings. Overall, One UI 6 offers a more streamlined and user-friendly experience for Galaxy device users.
