
Ex-Superdry cofounder James Holder convicted of rape in Gloucestershire
James Holder, 54, cofounder of Superdry, was found guilty by Gloucester Crown Court of rape after a night out in Cheltenham; the jury acquitted him of assault by penetration. He and a male friend took the victim’s taxi to her flat, where Holder raped her as she cried, while he claimed the act was consensual. Holder was remanded in custody ahead of sentencing.
