"Iran Threatens 'Reciprocal Action' Over Ship Seizures"
Iran's Vice President for Legal Affairs Mohammad Dehqan has warned that the country will take reciprocal action if its ships are seized illegally, following the US confiscation of Iranian oil. The US recently acknowledged seizing more than 520,000 barrels of Iran's oil aboard a crude tanker, citing sanctions-evasion charges and alleged financing of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps. Dehqan emphasized the potential for reciprocal measures if an Iranian ship is seized and noted the need for clarification from the Oil Ministry and related companies regarding the news.
