Nintendo of America is suing Redditor James C. Williams for $4.5 million, accusing him of copyright violations including pirating Switch games and trafficking circumvention software, which the company claims has significantly harmed its business and intellectual property rights. Despite initial cooperation, Williams allegedly continued his infringing activities, leading to the lawsuit and a default judgment against him.
