JLR to Spin Off Sub-Brands and Launch New EVs in 2025.
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has announced its Reimagine plan, which includes the formation of a "House of Brands" where Defender, Discovery, and Range Rover will exist as brands alongside Jaguar. JLR's goal is to be an electric-first luxury brand by 2030, with the first all-electric Range Rover set to launch in 2025. JLR will invest £15 billion over the next five years to remodel and rebrand its manufacturing facilities, with the Halewood plant in Merseyside becoming ground zero for building EVs using the new ELR platform. The company plans to be net cash positive by the fiscal year 2025 and to be net zero carbon by 2039.
