In the House of the Dragon Season 3 finale, Rhaenyra publicly reveals the Song of Ice and Fire prophecy to a bewildered crowd, a retcon that ties Targaryen rule to a looming northern threat and raises questions about how this will mesh with Game of Thrones. Her unraveling leadership—ordering Daemon to attack Tumbleton, dismissing Mysaria, and harshly treating Helaena—pushes her toward a precarious throne and directly sets up a chaotic Season 4 as factions realign and old prophecies drive the realm toward turmoil.
