Remembering Dave Marsh: A Trailblazing Rock Critic and Bruce Springsteen Biographer Dies at 76
Dave Marsh, a foundational rock critic and Bruce Springsteen biographer, died at 76 in Connecticut. A longtime Creem and Rolling Stone contributor, Marsh authored Born to Run (1979) and about 25 titles, helped launch E Street Radio, and hosted SiriusXM's Kick Out the Jams for 19 years. He also founded the Kristen Ann Carr Fund in memory of his daughter and is survived by his wife Barbara Carr.
