Tiger Woods’ Florida crash linked to phone distraction and meds
Golf star Tiger Woods told investigators he looked at his phone and changed the radio when his SUV crossed a double yellow line, hit a trailer, and rolled on Jupiter Island, prompting a DUI charge. Deputies cited signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests; a breath test showed no alcohol, but two hydrocodone pills were found in his pocket and he refused a urine test. He was arrested, held eight hours, posted $1,150 bail, and is set for an April 23 arraignment in Martin County court.
