Ron Wallace, a Rhode Island farmer, has set a new Guinness World Record for the heaviest pumpkin, weighing 3,156 pounds. This record-breaking gourd was weighed at the Southern New England Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off in Warren, Rhode Island, on October 10, 2026. It surpassed the previous record of 2,856 pounds, set just one week earlier by UK grower Ian Paton. This is the third time Wallace has broken the record, following his achievements in 2006 and 2012.
