Cruise Ship Nightmare: Storm Leaves 100 Passengers Injured
Approximately 100 passengers aboard the Saga Cruises' Spirit of Discovery sustained minor injuries due to severe weather conditions during a 14-night sailing. The ship had to cancel its last port visit and seek shelter to avoid worsening weather. Despite remaining structurally safe, the ship endured frightening conditions for about 18 hours. Five passengers were treated in the ship's medical center and later transported to local hospitals. The cruise was cut short, and compensation for the affected guests is expected. Cruise guests should always be prepared for possible delays or itinerary changes in rough weather.
