JetBlue opens bookings for BlueFirst domestic first class, launching Dec. 8
JetBlue has opened sales for BlueFirst, its new domestic first-class product, which will debut on December 8 between Boston and Fort Lauderdale. The cabin features 2-by-2 seating with extra legroom, Bluetooth-enabled screens, and premium dining, targeting routes where the airline’s lie-flat Mint service is unavailable. While the move aims to boost profitability through higher-priced fares, industry observers note that adding BlueFirst has resulted in tighter economy seating on affected aircraft.
