
Emerson Poll Signals a Tight Michigan Democratic Senate Primary Between El-Sayed and McMorrow
Emerson College Polling/WOOD-TV finds Abdul El-Sayed and Mallory McMorrow tied for the Democratic Senate primary lead in Michigan at 24% each, with 36% undecided and Haley Stevens at 13%. Younger voters favor El-Sayed, older voters back McMorrow, and the economy is the top issue for voters. The poll was conducted April 11-13, 2026 among 971 likely voters (MOE ~3.1% overall; 4.3% for Democrats, 4.6% for Republicans).
