Apple Watch Fast-Charging Dock Delivers 10W for Series 12 and Ultra 4

Apple has introduced a new magnetic fast charger (model A3277) that can deliver up to 10W for faster charging on the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 when used with a USB-C Power Delivery charger rated 10W or higher. The updated charger is included with the new watches, and Apple is selling the puck separately for $29. A 15-minute charge adds about 12 hours of battery life to the Series 12 and 18 hours to the Ultra 4, while older models (Series 11, Ultra 3) don’t benefit from the faster speed.

Apple Watch Series 12: Smaller Display, Bigger Case, Same Pixels

Apple’s Watch Series 12 uses a smaller display area (46mm down to 1,196 sq mm from 1,220; 42mm down to 970 from 989) while keeping the same pixel counts (46mm 416×496; 42mm 374×446). The case grows in both sizes (46mm: 46×40×9.7mm; 42mm: 42×37×9.7mm), resulting in thicker borders/bezel despite similar overall footprint. It starts at $399 and launches September 18.
