Netflix and AMC Team Up for Bannerman, Their First Co-Produced Series
Netflix and AMC Studios have formed a first-of-its-kind co-production to jointly develop and produce original series, starting with Bannerman, a spy thriller from Shane Black and Craig Silverstein. Black will co-write and direct the first two episodes; Silverstein will showrun and executive produce, with Greg Nicotero and Brian Witten also producing. Bannerman will debut on AMC in the U.S. and Canada, with Netflix streaming in those regions 90 days after the season finale, and Netflix debuting episodes in Australia, New Zealand, and Spain (worldwide release through Netflix in other regions).
