Michel Pereira has been released from the UFC roster after his loss to Shara Magomedov at UFC Baku, ending his UFC run at 10-6 across two weight classes and dropping four of his last five fights; he had a one-fight deal to face Magomedov and publicly criticized referee Herb Dean for not deducting a point after Magomedov pulled Pereira's hair twice, while Magomedov won a 29-28 unanimous decision.
