Rapid advancements in PS5 emulation have enabled playable performance for several 3D titles on PC, with SharpEmu and KytyPS5 achieving 60 FPS in select games and AnyPS5 offering a direct porting alternative.
SharpEmu, an experimental PlayStation 5 emulator, is in early development and cannot run games yet, but can load eboot.bin/elf files, execute native CPU instructions, and emulate basic system functions, signaling progress similar to PS4 emulation thanks to the PS5’s PC-friendly architecture. Demon's Souls remake boots in tests and other titles show partial rendering, hinting at future PC releases of PS5 exclusives like Ghost of Yotei, Marvel's Wolverine, and God of War Laufey. However, GTA VI will not run on PC via PS5 emulation this November, so expectations should be kept in check.
