The Madison Proves Sheridan’s Universe Is Its Own Thing, Not a Yellowstone Sequel
The Hollywood Reporter confirms The Madison is a standalone Paramount+ series in Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone-verse, with no Duttons and a six-episode first season produced in two parts to accommodate Kurt Russell’s schedule. Michelle Pfeiffer stars as Stacy Clyburn opposite Russell’s Preston, and the show follows a New York family’s move to Montana after a tragedy as they navigate grief. Despite filming a second season in advance, Sheridan plans for many more seasons, and Pfeiffer and Patrick J. Adams say they’d happily continue as long as audiences want it; the first three episodes have premiered with the remaining three dropping over the weekend.
