Climbing Records Broken: British and Nepali Climbers Set New Everest Summits Records
British mountain guide Kenton Cool has broken his own record for the most ascents of Mount Everest by a non-Sherpa guide, scaling the peak for the 17th time. Only Nepali Sherpa guides have scaled the peak more times than Cool. Hundreds of climbers and their local guides are currently on Everest and a rush for the summit is expected in the next few weeks.
