Slate EV Debuts Budget Truck and SUV with 205-Mile Range
Slate unveiled pricing for its electric Truck and SUV: starting at $24,950 (Truck) and $29,950 (SUV), with up to 205 miles of range from a 65 kWh battery; earlier promises of sub-$20k after incentives are no longer feasible. The Truck offers higher payload and towing than the SUV (1,550 lbs and 2,000 lbs), while both models emphasize repairability with no touchscreen and broad accessory support. Slate also allows upgrading the Truck to an SUV after purchase, includes a 10-year/110k-mile battery and powertrain warranty, and deliveries are expected in Q4 this year.
