Finnish PM Sanna Marin faces tough re-election battle.

Finland's opposition right-wing National Coalition Party (NCP) is narrowly leading the parliamentary election with 20.8% support from advance ballots, followed closely by the Social Democratic Party (SDP) of Prime Minister Sanna Marin with 20.7% support. The nationalist Finns Party is in third place with 18.6% support. The NCP has promised to curb spending and stop the rise of public debt, which has reached just over 70% of GDP since Marin took office in 2019.
