Version 1.8.0 for Mario Kart World adds SNES courses to VS/Race modes, Propeller Rally and Turnip Rally to the Knockout Tour, Time Trials improvements, new spectating tools (camera and rankings), and a Spectator Mode option for Online/LAN play. Online rooms now support up to 26 participants (24 actively racing), with item visibility tweaks, balance changes, and broader auto-use of items with Custom Items. The patch also includes several fixes, brand-new buoy placements on certain routes, and general gameplay adjustments.

SNES Tracks Return to Mario Kart World in Free Update, Adding Spectator Mode and New Tours

Mario Kart World’s latest free update adds 10 SNES-era tracks (including classics like Mario Circuit, Ghost Valley, and Choco Island) to Versus mode, plus two new Knockout Tour events (Propeller Rally and Turnip Rally) and a Spectator Mode for online or LAN play.
