Starlink Mini Goes Free for All Residential Plans, SpaceX Signals Wider Rollout

SpaceX appears to broaden the free Starlink Mini rental perk from the top-tier Residential Max to all Residential plans after customers reported emails and Starlink's updated documentation; the Mini dish, usually costing $199–$249 to own, offers a 20% discount with Roam and 50% off for Residential Max, with the new language suggesting eligibility could extend to more plans. SpaceX hasn’t commented. The update also hints at inventory clearance or a possible second-generation Mini, but no launch details are given. Starlink's support page says eligible customers will receive a “Claim Mini” email or should contact support if not received.
