Devastating Floods Ravage Northeast, Leaving Destruction in Their Wake

However, there is no major precipitation forecasted, allowing the already flooded rivers to recede. Lake Champlain and the Connecticut River are expected to rise, with the river already in flood as far south as Holyoke, Massachusetts.
