Unlock Giovanni’s Radar: Earn the Super Rocket Radar via GO Pass in Pokémon GO
From the Steeled Resolve event, the Super Rocket Radar is earned through GO Pass: free radar by reaching Rank 30 in GO Pass Basic before May 4 at 8 p.m. local time, or upgrade to GO Pass Deluxe ($4.99) to get it instantly at Rank 1 (and, if you upgrade to Deluxe + 6 Ranks, another radar at Rank 30). New players can’t access Giovanni via Special Research anymore, so GO Pass is the sole route. Points toward Rank 30 come from raids (100 pts), hatching eggs (40 pts), and catching Pokémon (5 pts); during May 2–4 there’s no daily cap on points in this progression window.
