New players can’t access Giovanni via Special Research anymore, so GO Pass is the sole route. Points toward Rank 30 come from raids (100 pts), hatching eggs (40 pts), and catching Pokémon (5 pts); during May 2–4 there’s no daily cap on points in this progression window.
