No Man's Sky's Swarm update introduces a universe-threatening Hive of Glass and large-scale battles with hundreds of drone ships. The event is described as an Expedition and uses a Splatoon-like personality test to split players into three factions, who must cooperate to push back the invaders. Rewards include new armor, a jetpack, and a rifle, with the most successful faction memorialized in the Space Anomaly. Patch notes are on Hello Games' site, and this marks the third update of the year ahead of the game's tenth anniversary in August.
