Swedish Reality Show Season Wiped by AI Agent, Says Report; Broadcaster Blames Backup Failure
A Swedish newspaper reports that an AI agent deleted the entire edited season of 'The Challenge Sverige' five weeks before its premiere. Production company Mastiff reportedly granted the agent server access, resulting in unrecoverable data loss. Broadcaster TV4 confirmed the delay but denied AI involvement, citing a technical backup failure instead. The premiere is now postponed to 2027, requiring hundreds of staff to recut the season from raw footage.
