Acer’s Featherweight Swift Blade 14 takes aim at the MacBook Air, paired with Swift Air 16
At IFA 2026, Acer unveiled the Swift Blade 14, a carbon-fiber ultra-light at 799 g (1.76 lb) and 12.95 mm thick, with 12 GB RAM and Intel Wildcat Lake CPUs, plus IPS or OLED display options; it’s joined by the Swift Air 16, a 16-inch model weighing about 1.5 kg and 13.5 mm thick with similar chips and up to 16 GB RAM and 512 GB NVMe. Pricing isn’t announced yet. Acer touts the Blade as thinner-than-some rivals yet only 1.7 mm thicker than the MacBook Air, underscoring its appeal to weight-conscious users.
