Swiss LX16 Diverts to Bangor After Mid‑Atlantic Emergency
Swiss flight LX16 from Zurich to JFK declared an emergency off the coast of Maine and diverted to Bangor International Airport (BGR). The Airbus A330-300 (HB-JHK) was cruising at 38,000 ft, descended to 32,000 ft, and squawked 7700. There are no reported injuries, and the reason for the emergency has not been disclosed.
