President Trump says a big decision is coming on whether to strike Iran as satellite imagery shows Tehran rebuilding the Taleghan 2 nuclear facility, with him seeking views from Middle East partners in New York before deciding amid ongoing tensions and IAEA scrutiny.
Satellite imagery suggests Taleghan 2 at Iran’s Parchin complex was struck during ongoing efforts to neutralize Iran’s nuclear program, with three large impact points possibly indicating the use of 30,000-pound GBU-57/B Massive Ordnance Penetrators; Israel claims striking Taleghan 2 while CENTCOM has not confirmed munitions; Taleghan 2 was recently hardened with concrete and soil, making deep-penetration weapons desirable; past operations used MOPs against Fordow and Natanz, though other bunker-buster options may have been used; it remains unclear whether Taleghan 2 was eliminated.
