Three Series Top the 2026 TCA Award Nominations

Three series—Widow's Bay, Heated Rivalry and Industry—each score five nominations to lead the 2026 Television Critics Association Awards, with nods across program of the year and multiple craft categories; The Comeback, Hacks, The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, The Pitt, Pluribus and Shrinking are also in the running for program of the year, while several other titles compete in the best new program category. HBO/HBO Max led with 30 nominations, followed by Apple TV+ with 20, Netflix with 14 and Disney+ with 11, as the TCA adds a new animation and an international series category; winners will be announced later in summer.

"‘Succession’ and ‘The Bear’ Sweep TCA Awards; Mel Brooks and ‘The Carol Burnett Show’ Honored"

HBO's "Succession" and FX's "The Bear" were the big winners at the 39th Annual TCA Awards. "Succession" took home the prizes for Program of the Year and Outstanding Achievement in Drama, while "The Bear" won for Outstanding New Program and Outstanding Achievement in Comedy. Other winners included Rhea Seehorn for Individual Achievement in Drama for "Better Call Saul" and Natasha Lyonne for Individual Achievement in Comedy for "Poker Face." The awards, voted on by the TCA's more than 200 members, honored the best in television for the 2022-2023 season.
