WNBA still reviewing Caitlin Clark's tech foul appeal after Fever-Mercury clash
The WNBA is reviewing the Indiana Fever’s appeal to overturn Caitlin Clark’s fourth-quarter technical foul from Monday’s win over the Phoenix Mercury; the league had initially stated it wasn’t rescinded and clarified post-game appeals are allowed, with the Fever submitting their request on Wednesday. Five players drew technicals in the incident—Clark, DeWanna Bonner, Alyssa Thomas, Sophie Cunningham and Myisha Hines-Allen (who was ejected after a second technical). Clark defended the call, calling it “ridiculous,” while Fever coach Stephanie White emphasized the need for Clark to balance passion with smart play. The league’s decision will determine Clark’s season total and any potential discipline.
