Titans set to honor Chris Johnson with Ring of Honor induction
The Tennessee Titans will induct Chris Johnson into their Ring of Honor during the 2026 season opener against the New York Jets, following his ALS diagnosis revealed last year. Johnson, a 2008 first-round pick, posted a 2,006-yard season in 2009 and finishes his Titans career with 7,965 rushing yards, ranking fourth in franchise history; Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk says the ceremony honors his on-field impact and leadership, while Johnson hopes the news will raise awareness and spur research and diagnosis for others.
