Medicaid coverage at risk for millions in multiple states.

Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, New Hampshire, and South Dakota will be the first states to terminate Medicaid coverage for those deemed ineligible for the public health insurance program for low-income Americans. The five states will start cutting off coverage in April, followed by 14 more states in May and 20 additional states plus the District of Columbia in June. Around 15 million people could be dropped from Medicaid, according to various estimates, though several million folks could find coverage elsewhere.
